Greetings from our team! This month, we are thrilled to introduce game-changing improvements and updates that will redefine your loyalty program experience.

These enhancements will roll out on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Here are the update details:


Boost Efficiency with AI-Powered OCR in the Snap/Upload Receipts Program: Fast, Accurate, and Fraud-Free

For businesses that rely on intermediaries to distribute their products, rewarding retailers and customers can be complicated, costly, and prone to errors. But Snap / Upload Receipts with AI-powered OCR and Fraud Prevention transforms this process, offering direct benefits that protect your bottom line and streamline operations.


Here’s how Snap Receipts can revolutionize your reward program:

With the power of AI-driven Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Fraud Prevention systems, Snap Receipts automates the entire process, making it easier for brands to offer rewards while safeguarding against fraud. Here’s how it works:


  1. Auto-Approve: If the system detects a high confidence level (≥ X%), receipts are approved automatically, saving time and reducing human error.
  1. Instant Rewards: Points or e-Vouchers are automatically calculated and issued based on your business rules and knowledge base.
  1. Fraud Prevention: Advanced algorithms automatically reject:
      • Duplicate receipts
      • Receipt modification based on fraud indications
      • Submissions made after X days from the purchase date
      • Unqualified purchase locations

Revise Submission Data along with Approval / Rejection Status



Revise privilege submission


Previously, brand admins could not overwrite approved or rejected privileges. Now, brand admins can overwrite privilege submissions and edit submission data, providing greater flexibility and control in managing member privileges.


This feature is available as a complimentary to the AI-Powered OCR, allowing admins to override AI decisions when necessary.


However, please note that rewards such as bonus points or e-vouchers are not automatically voided when submissions are overwritten. Brand admins must carefully check member data before making any overwrite to ensure accuracy.


Flexible User ID as Login Identifier for Your Member

Previously, the login flow using User ID as the primary identifier was not available. Now, you can offer users the option to log in with their User ID, in addition to their phone number and email.


This flexibility provides an added layer of security for brands who prefer not to share users' or customers' phone numbers or email addresses, ensuring a more secure and memorable loyalty experience for both you and your members.

You can also now manage User IDs directly from the Dashboard. For brands using custom User IDs as the primary identifier, this enhancement allows you to:


  • View a complete list of User IDs associated with your members,
  • Bulk migrate new users by seamlessly uploading registration data,
  • Edit members' phone numbers as their primary point of contact, and
  • Reset members' PINs, with the option to send the new PIN to an email address, allowing members to reset it themselves through the app.

Please note, access to this feature is limited to authorized admins. If you need access, please contact our team for assistance with the setup process.


Introducing the Claim Rewards API: Enhanced Sub-Brand E-Commerce Transaction Capture


We’re excited to launch the Claim Rewards API, allowing customers to input their invoice numbers from brand shops after completing a marketplace order and get the rewards. Additionally, this enhancement enables companies with multiple sub-brands to register each one individually, even across platforms like Shopee or Tokopedia.


For example, if your company operates Brand X, Brand Y, and Brand Z on Shopee or Tokopedia, you can now capture transaction data for each sub-brand separately. This update ensures that transaction details are recorded in Tada’s report, making it easier to track each sub-brand’s transactions and awarded points.
