Bonus Rewards Configuration

Ignite customer enthusiasm with captivating bonus reward schemes that keep them coming back for more. Find out how you can set them up yourselves here!

With our new Bonus Rewards menu, you can set up reward schemes and set criteria based on your business needs! Do you want to boost sales in certain stores? Create bonus rewards to give out discount vouchers for purchases in that store. Do you want to incentivize your members and reward them? Have a member's day and give out double points for any purchases during that day. All that can be easily set up in our Dashboard now!

Psst.. having bonus rewards is not a new feature, but previously it can only be set up by our team with 2-day SLA. But who's got time for that? Now you can set it up yourself and have it up and running in minutes!

First, go to our Dashboard and click “Bonus Rewards” under the “Earning Configuration”. Here, you can see all your bonus rewards list and you can activate/inactive them. To set up a new one, click “Create Bonus Rewards” and then you need to choose what type of bonus reward you want to create depending on the occasion; sign-up, birthday, level-up, or custom bonus rewards.

How to set up sign-up rewards
  1. Create the reward name (this won’t be shown to customers)
  1. Set the start and end date of the reward period (optional)
  1. Choose when you want to give the rewards
    1. Upon activation: After customers receive the card
    2. Upon registration: After customers register
  1. Choose the reward type
    1. Additional points where you can choose the wallet and the point amount
    2. Additional e-vouchers where you can choose the voucher and the quantity amount
  1. Rewards expiry
    1. Days: the additional rewards will expire after xx days received
    2. Fixed date: the additional rewards will expire at a specific date
  1. Limit number of reward received / user / period: if enabled, you can choose to set the number of time customer can receive this bonus rewards. e.g: if set to 2, each customer can only receive the bonus rewards twice within the promo period. So if they fulfill the criteria for the third time, they won’t get the bonus rewards again
  1. Set as active/inactive
  1. Additional criteria: if you have multiple programs, you can set this sign-up reward for specific programs of your choosing
    1. If you choose to give the reward upon activation, you may also add other criteria:

      • Store: reward will be distributed to members whose activation from stores on the list
      • Exclude store: reward will be distributed to all members except those whose activation from stores on the list
  1. Click ‘Save’ when you’re finished and done!

How to set up birthday rewards
  1. Create the reward name (this won’t be shown to customers)
  1. When do you want to give the rewards?
    1. On member birthday date: member will receive the reward on the date of their birthday
    2. On member birthday month: member can receive the reward throughout their birthday month if they fulfill the criteria. For this setting you can also choose who will receive the reward
      1. For existing customer: applicable for your existing members who have registered prior to this reward created
      2. For new customer: applicable for the new members who will only join after this reward created
  1. How do you want to give the rewards?
    1. No transaction needed: member will receive the reward automatically
    2. After member do transaction: member will only receive the reward after they make a transaction, you can choose from 2 types of transaction
      1. Wallet top-up: transactions that resulted points earned to member’s loyalty wallet
      2. Purchase in shop: if your loyalty program enables our Shop function, you can choose this type of transaction as the reward trigger
  1. Set the start and end date of the reward period (optional)
  1. Choose the reward type
    1. Additional points where you can choose the wallet and the point amount
    2. Additional e-vouchers where you can choose the voucher and the quantity amount
  1. Rewards expiry
    1. Days: the additional rewards will expire after xx days received
    2. Fixed date: the additional rewards will expire at a specific date
  1. Limit number of reward received / user / period: if enabled, you can choose to set the number of time customer can receive this bonus rewards. e.g: if set to 2, each customer can only receive the bonus rewards twice within the promo period. So if they fulfill the criteria for the third time, they won’t get the bonus rewards again
  1. Set as active/inactive
  1. Choose the additional criteria, there are different available criteria depending on the setting you chose
    1. If customer can get reward with no transaction needed and you have multiple programs, you may choose which program will have this reward
    2. If reward is given after member do transaction, there are several additional criteria you may choose from:
      1. Transaction amount: you can set the value amount and choose between is equal to (=); is not equal to (≠); is greater than (>); is greater than equal (≥); is less than (<); is less than equal (≤)
      2. Program: applicable if you have more than one programs, so the bonus rewards will apply to the program of your choosing
      3. Store: the bonus rewards will be generated if customers make a purchase in any of the chosen stores
      4. Exclude store: the bonus rewards will be generated for purchases in all stores except the ones on the excluded list
      5. SKU: the bonus rewards will be generated if customers make a purchase of any of the chosen SKUs
      6. Exclude SKU: the bonus rewards will be generated for purchases of any of the SKU except the ones in the excluded list
  1. Click ‘Save’ when you’re finished and done!

How to set up level-up rewards
  1. Create the reward name (this won’t be shown to customers)
  1. Set the start and end date of the reward period (optional)
  1. Choose the reward type for each level your program has (except for the lowest level)
    1. Additional points where you can choose the wallet and the point amount
    2. Additional e-vouchers where you can choose the voucher and the quantity amount
  1. Rewards expiry
    1. Days: the additional rewards will expire after xx days received
    2. Fixed date: the additional rewards will expire at a specific date
  1. Limit number of reward received / user / period: if enabled, you can choose to set the number of time customer can receive this bonus rewards. e.g: if set to 2, each customer can only receive the bonus rewards twice within the promo period. So if they fulfill the criteria for the third time, they won’t get the bonus rewards again
  1. Set as active/inactive
  1. Additional criteria: if you have multiple programs, you can set this sign-up reward for specific programs of your choosing (optional)
  1. Click ‘Save’ when you’re finished and done!

How to set up custom bonus rewards
  1. Create the reward name (this won’t be shown to customers)
  1. Set the start and end date of the reward period (optional)
  1. Choose the reward type
    1. Additional points where you can choose the wallet and choose from four of the earning types
      1. Fix: customer will get a fixed amount of points upon meeting the criteria
      2. Multiplier: customer will get an additional fixed amount of points for every xxx amount spent, e.g:
          • every IDR 10,000 get 10pts so if customer spends IDR 235,000 customer will get additional 230pts
          • every RM 5 get 2pts so if customer spends RM37 customer will get additional 14pts
      3. Percentage of transaction amount: customer will get points a percentage of the transaction amount, e.g:
          • 20% so if customer spends IDR 100,000 customer will get additional 20,000pts
          • 5% so if customer spends RM 50 customer will get additional 2pts (we round down the decimal points)
      4. Percentage of points received from basic conversion: customer will get points a percentage from their basic earning conversion, e.g:
          • basic conversion every IDR 10,000 get 10 pts, bonus rewards 50% so if customer spends 100,000 customer will get additional 50pts
          • basic conversion every RM 5 get 2pts, bonus rewards 100% (double pts) so if customer spends RM25 customer will get additional 10pts
    2. Additional e-vouchers where you can choose the voucher and the quantity amount
  1. Rewards expiry
    1. Days: the additional rewards will expire after xx days received
    2. Fixed date: the additional rewards will expire at a specific date
  1. Limit number of reward received / user / period: if enabled, you can choose to set the number of time customer can receive this bonus rewards. e.g: if set to 2, each customer can only receive the bonus rewards twice within the promo period. So if they fulfill the criteria for the third time, they won’t get the bonus rewards again
  1. Set as active/inactive
  1. Additional criteria: here you can set the criteria the customers need to fulfill in order to receive the bonus rewards and the best part is you can add multiple criteria to combine them!
    1. Transaction type: if customer do any of the transaction type chosen, they will receive the bonus rewards
      1. Wallet topup
      2. Wallet redemption
      3. Balance topup
      4. Balance redemption
      5. Activation
      6. Registration
      7. Birthday
      8. Shop Transaction with External Payment
      9. New Subscription
      10. Subscription Renewal
      11. Level Upgrade
      12. Paid Membership
      13. Reward Top Up
    2. Transaction amount: you can set the value amount and choose between is equal to (=); is not equal to (≠); is greater than (>); is greater than equal (≥); is less than (<); is less than equal (≤)
    3. Program: applicable if you have more than one programs, so the bonus rewards will apply to the program of your choosing
    4. Store: the bonus rewards will be generated if customers make a purchase in any of the chosen stores
    5. Exclude store: the bonus rewards will be generated for purchases in all stores except the ones on the excluded list
    6. SKU: the bonus rewards will be generated if customers make a purchase of any of the chosen SKUs
    7. Exclude SKU: the bonus rewards will be generated for purchases of any of the SKU except the ones in the excluded list
    8. Payment method: you can choose payment methods that are eligible to receive the bonus rewards
    9. Level: choose the member level that are eligible to receive the bonus rewards
  1. Click ‘Save’ when you’re finished and done!
